The arts have a unique capacity to foster change, start conversations, build connections and support recovery and rejuvenation. 

While engaging in the arts has benefits for everyone, arts experiences can have significant positive impact when they are tailored to address an identified need or issue being experienced by an individuals and communities.

Improving health and wellbeing

The Arts in Health pilot program, a partnership with Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service and Children’s Health Queensland, is focused on improving wellbeing outcomes for staff and communities through arts-led activities.

Integrating arts into Queensland hospitals

A partnership with Queensland Health is supporting the integration of arts into health infrastructure and facilities through the Capacity Expansion Program.

Supporting young people to transition from the youth justice system to positive futures

A partnership with Department of Youth Justice through the Transition 2 Success project and RASN North Queensland aims to improve social and economic outcomes for the young people and families engaged with youth justice.
