The following tables list the key dates for Arts Queensland fund programs.

Note: Program opening and closing dates may be updated throughout the year. 

 

First Nations Arts Business Grants

This Fund has been paused for review. Previous fund guidelines are available for reference only. 

First Nations Arts Business Grants focus on strengthening business skills and capacity of First Nations artists, arts workers and arts and cultural organisations.

 

First Nations Commissioning Fund

The First Nations Commission Fund  is focused on investing in opportunities that share First Nations stories and cultural knowledge and elevate awareness of Queensland’s exceptional First Nations arts and cultural products and experiences.

First Nations Fashion and Textiles Accelerator Fund

The First Nations Fashion and Textiles Accelerator Fund seeks to support First Nations artists in Queensland to share their stories, celebrate their cultural identity and maximise the economic potential of their art by translating it into fashion and fabric. It helps artists focused on fashion and textiles, as well as those who include them in their broader work, with an emphasis on activities that grow commercial outcomes.

Grow Cultural Tourism Fund 

The Grow Cultural Tourism Fund will support the growth of arts and cultural events and programming across the state, build the local arts sector’s capacity, and activate communities to strengthen Queensland's reputation as a cultural tourism destination.

Growing Gigs Fund

The Growing Gigs Fund works to assist small live music venues to program Queensland contemporary music artists and musicians by supporting performance fees and costs associated with presenting.

Live Music Venue Business Grants

The Live Music Venue Business Grants works to strengthen small live music venues in Queensland. It focuses on growing and diversifying the business models of small live music venues and enhancing their future viability.

Organisations Fund 2026-2029

The Organisations Fund 2026-2029 is a four-year funding program that supports small-to-medium Queensland-based arts and cultural organisations to be stronger businesses.

Performing Arts Market Development Fund

This Fund has been paused for review. Previous fund guidelines are available for reference only.

The Performing Arts Market Development Fund will support interstate and overseas opportunities that grow Queensland’s cultural economy, increase exposure, facilitate business and career growth, and expand markets and export revenue potential for Queensland-based musicians, performing artists and organisations.

 

Queensland Arts Showcase Program

The Queensland Arts Showcase Program (QASP) is focused on celebrating Queensland’s artists and stories, ensuring Queenslanders’ access to high quality experiences and growing Queensland’s cultural reputation.

The Visual arts market development fund is focused on enabling key international opportunities that strengthen exposure, expand markets and revenue potential for Queensland’s visual arts craft and design sector.
