Funding opportunities

A suite of new and streamlined arts funding programs are now available to support Creative Together’s action plan, Grow 2022 – 2026. Arts Queensland’s funding initiatives work to drive creative employment, and grow new creative work and events that will activate Queensland communities and showcase uniquely Queensland stories.

First Nations Commissioning Fund

Closing date: 2pm, Monday 17 March 2025  
Amount: up to $150,000 for two-year projects

The First Nations Commissioning Fund (FNCF) focuses on investing in opportunities that share Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ stories, histories and heritage, support economic outcomes for Queensland First Nations Artists, organisations and communities, and present exceptional arts and cultural work to wider audiences and markets.

Organisations Fund 2026-2029

Festival stream closing date: 2pm, Monday 10 March 2025
Amount: Minimum $100,000 per annum for four years

General stream closed: 4pm, Monday 20 January 2025
Amount: Minimum $100,000 per annum for four years

The Organisations Fund 2026-2029 supports small-to-medium arts and cultural organisations to be stronger businesses and to deliver great work.

Queensland Arts Showcase Program (QASP)

Amount: Up to $60,000

The First Nations Fashion and Textiles Accelerator Fund seeks to support First Nations artists to share their stories, celebrate their cultural identity and maximise the economic potential of their art by translating it into fashion and fabric.

Growing Gigs Fund

The Growing Gigs Fund works to support small live music venues (up to 500-person capacity) to program Queensland contemporary music artists and musicians by subsidising costs of presentation.

The Live Music Venue Business Grants work to strengthen small live music venues in Queensland. It focuses on growing and diversifying the business models of small live music venues and enhancing their future viability.
